A man was placed on probation in New Bedford District Court for charges of Vandalism; Assault and Battery; Strangulation/Suffocation; and, Intimidation of a Witness.  The man was placed on GPS monitoring as a term of his sentence.  He then allegedly violated his probation by not adhering to the GPS conditions and was arrested.  Probation officers alleged that the man tampered with the GPS monitoring device.  The man claimed the device was defective and was not charging properly despite him following the charging procedures provided to him.  The man retained Massachusetts Criminal Lawyer, John L.
