Case Overview:
Police were dispatched to investigate a domestic violence incident in Boston, Massachusetts. A woman claimed that her boyfriend, while driving on the highway after just leaving Logan Airport, demanded that she give him oral sex. When she told him no, she stated he grabbed the back of her head. She punched him in the head to get his hand off of her. The girlfriend stated that her boyfriend then pulled the car over, and punched her in the face, causing her left eye to bruise and swell. He then dropped her off at her home. Shortly thereafter, she reported the incident to police. The girlfriend also ended up going to the emergency room to obtain treatment for her injuries. A warrant issued for the boyfriend’s arrest. He retained Massachusetts Criminal Defense Lawyer, John L. Calcagni III, to assist with surrendering on this warrant and defending the case.
Case Result: Case Dismissed.
After reviewing all the evidence, and ongoing pretrial discussions with the Commonwealth, Attorney Calcagni and his team successfully secured the dismissal of the case and its charge against the man.
